Godkin Debate - This House Believes Too Many People Go to University
Hello! Hello! And welcome to this! The eighth ordinary meeting of the one hundred and sixty-fifth session of the Queen's University of Belfast Literary and Scientific Society! On this particular occasion, the House convened to discuss the motion of "This House Believes Too Many People Go to University". This meeting of the Literific marks the 3rd (or 165th, depending on who you ask) annual Godkin debate, an event in which after all of the speakers have made their speeches a panel of judges convenes to decide which speaker most deserves to be given the Godkin award, arguably the most prestigious honour the Literific bestows. This debate featured Ms. Chadwick, Mr. Hogan and Ms. Sobey speaking for the Proposition and Mr. Murphy, Mr. Toleman and Mr. Adair speaking for the Opposition. Thanks for listening!
